Your server also becomes part of our managed infrastructre located in the TeleCity data centre in London Docklands, the most connected location in the UK, this means you get unrivailled connectivity to the internet provided by two completely independent routes.
With your dedicated server you are free to tweak the software that is installed on it, you can choose which version of PHP you run and also which modules are loaded. You can also choose which version of mySQL you wish to use. We can also install additional software on the server for you if required.
As part of our managed service your server is watched over 24/7 and in the event of a problem one of our engineers will be immediately alerted to the situation. Our offices are located within a 30 minute drive of the data centre so in the event of a problem one of our staff can be on site very quickly. To ensure that your server is never offline for longer than necessary all our servers are connected to a remote power unit which allows us to remotely cycle the power if neccessary. In addition to this we have our own unique recovery console which allows us to boot your server in to a recovery mode to aid us in rectifing any serious problems.
We take your data seriously and for this reason we backup your server everynight to our remote backup server. But we don't stop there though, we also replicate all of your servers databases in realtime to our database replication server, no other hosting company we know offers this level of service. With our database replication service all new data added to your database is immediately replicated to our database replicator. In the event of a faliure we not only have a copy of all your sites we also have an up to the minute copy of your databases too!
