In January 2007 Paypal introduced Paypal Pro to the UK market. With Paypal Pro, store owners can accept Debit or Credit card payments from within their store.

The Paypal Pro module combines both Express checkout and Credit card payments in one module. When a customer enters your payments page they will see entry boxes for credit card information and a Paypal Express option..

Existing Paypal customers can simply click the Express Checkout button to go directly to Paypals site to pay for their order. Alternatively, non Paypal customers can enter their credit card information and compelte their order in the normal way.

PayPal will not enable Maestro payment for users who do not have a 3D secure compatible payment gateway, our module has been updated and now features 3D secure compatibility as standard.
